Be Naughty (kids) this Christmas ?

Cotton On, Broadway.  Fairly predictable that this retailer would be pushing the envelope on 'kids with attitude' - 'be naughty this Christmas' (bottom right).  I wonder how they are travelling in terms of sales ?  I guess it could have been worse - based on  past performance they might have had a Christmas t-shirt that said 'Be my Christmas Bitch' or something ....

A Flock of Tutus

Cotton On Kids, Broadway.  This retailer normally appears on this site because of ambiguous and potentially misleading pricing.  So it is good to find something positive to say.  I thought the presentation of these tutus and shoes, was simple but eyecatching.  Mums and Dads with little girls on their way to the Target store down the way would not be able to walk past without a look.  Great product placement - and not a Sale sign in sight.

Watch the Fine Print

Cotton On Kids, East Gardens. An example of when 'storewide' is not 'storewide'. Busy mum with a stoller isn't going to see the fine print ? Not the best practice from this retailer who should do better.

SHABBY MARKETING

Cotton On, Broadway. As per previous post - I think it is totally misleading for Cotton On to have a 'Nothing Over $10' offer prominently displayed, while the caveat ' sale styles only' is really tiny - see if you can spot it. I was outside this store and actually heard a customer complaining about it - retailers who do this should not be surprised if word spreads and they get what they deserve.

DON'T COTTON ON

Cotton On, East Gardens. Misleading sale advertising - the $10 only applies to sale stock - see the really, really fine print. Hopefully the ACCC notices.
