T - for Tired

Telstra T-Shop, Broadway.  Looking very tired and corporate - retail should be fun !

The Core of It

Mobile shop, East Gardens.  I could NOT believe this guy serving a customer while he was eating an apple - would you buy a cellphone (in fact ANYthing) from someone eating food ?

Boyz Toyz

AllPhones, Broadway.  Here's something you don't see often - a telecomms retailer dressing up a window.  In this case it was to profile a new Sony Ericsson phone.  I thought it was quite ...eh .. evocative :)

Bright and buzzing

Vodafone, Warringah.  This Voda store seemed like a 'happening' place - bright and cheerful and buzzing. The lighting is quite cool. I would be interested to hear what experiences readers have had in their stores.

New Look Optus

Store, Broadway.  Open frontage, warm and friendly, contemporary lines, welcoming. Positive look and feel  in line with the 'Yes' tagline.

THE AERIAL VIEW

Vodafone kiosk. An unusual, fun aerial view in the mall - I find it interesting to see the relationship between people, function and space.

MONKEY BUSINESS AT OPTUS

Optus, Bondi Junction. A lighthearted approach to brand identity - works for me, and builds on the previous animals campaigns. Contrary to appearances here, the store was quite busy too.

TIDY TELSTRA PACKAGE

Telstra T-Shop, East Gardens.  A rather corporate, but tidy telecomms store.  This store is well-located, and seems to be generally quite busy.  It has a professional look about it, and staff are well-presented.  The dramatic lighting adds some warmth to the store.  The ceiling, while attractive, looks expensive. I would be interested to hear readers' experiences of service in these stores.

PENGUINS ON GEORGE ST

Optus store, George St, Sydney. Impressive multi-LCD window display catches attention on a busy street. (There are four LCDs with animations in sequence).
