Louis Vuitton, Bondi Junction. Gauche or stylish ? Personally I think LV are 'off-brand' with this - it looks too crude to be associated with a premium luxury brand. What do you think ? Comments below please ..

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, I don't get it. Then again, I don't get LV being in trashy Bondi Junction unless it's the fact it's the only shopping mall in Eastern Suburbs.
ReplyDeleteThx for the comments tweeps. BJ is the only shopping precinct in the Eastern subs with the foot traffic (incl visitors) that would sustain an LV store. The only alternative is Double Bay, and that is currently in no shape to compete in the short term. As an aside, almost all malls these days, especially regional ones like Bondi have to span the discount-upmarket spectrum to make the necessary returns, as shoppers are increasingly shopping the whole spectrum (the new frugality). Even Chatswood Chase has it's mass-market mix.
